Places to Stay
There are plenty of places to stay in and around the resort. Some even partner with the resort and offer “ski free” options if you stay at a participating lodging partner. In fact Cooper Spur Resort, also owned by Mt Hood Meadows, is just 8 miles from the resort and offers the closest accommodations to Mt Hood Meadows.
Purchasing Gear
Mt Hood Meadows Sports Shop and High Performance Center offer a wide variety of apparel as well as skis, boots, bindings, poles, helmets, goggles – you name it – they have it. Plus they are conveniently located slope side here at the mountain and offer a price matching guarantee.
Loyalty Program
Mt Hood Meadows also have a loyalty program, where purchases you make at the mountain can be used to redeem ski and snowboard school lessons and other items. Check out the loyalty program – it’s worth it!
Dining at the Mountain
I always recommend trying to eat early or ski through lunch if you can. If you can take lunch at 11:15am ahead of the lunch rush you’ll be in and out of the lodge quickly. Alternatively, take an energy bar with you and ski until 1:15pm and take lunch then. The slopes are noticeably less crowded during the lunch hour, so take advantage of this known phenomenon.
